The tuition charged for a Prep education is over $1,000 less than its actual cost each year. Full cost is not charged because of Prep’s commitment to keep its education as financially accessible as possible. Because of that commitment, every student at Prep is receiving a form of scholarship.

In addition, this year at Prep there are over 200 students receiving financial aid grants totaling $703,000. The less than cost tuition and most grants are made possible each year through funds raised by the Parents’ Club and Alumni Board and through the Annual Giving Appeal to other friends and supporters of Prep. Others are made possible through Prep’s scholarship endowments. All grants are considered by Prep as loans, with no legal obligation and no interest, to be repaid at some later date by recipients when they, in turn, are able to support those with similar needs.
